In conjunction with Calderdale Adult Learning we are running our financial capability training
courses, Budget Like a Boss!!!! and Cook on a Budget Like a Boss!!!! to support people in
Calderdale to better manage their money. The current cost of living crisis has made it
imperative that people know how to budget and manage their money better.
Our courses will help you to:
- Understand the difference between priority and non-priority spending
- Manage and deal with debts.
- Encourage savvy food purchasing, meal planning and cooking on a budget.
- Look at ways to reduce your expenditure and increase your income.
- Use bank accounts to budget better.
- See how impulse buys can seriously affect your budget.
Our courses are run over 2 sessions of approximately 2.5 hours (10:00am to 12:30pm). We have courses
running continually (usually 2 per month), on various mornings and at different venues (contact us
for venue information).
For each session we provide:
- Refreshments during the morning.
- Lunch.
- Travel expenses paid.
- A ‘goody’ bag for attending.
